Hi friends! I’m Nick—entrepreneur, Microsoft alum, San Diego local, and one of those people who’s done a little bit of everything (and plans to keep it that way). Whether it’s building a startup, playing music, or catching a wave at sunset, I tend to dive headfirst into whatever I’m passionate about.

Professionally, I’ve spent over a decade helping teams grow and tech products scale. My career includes time at Microsoft working across platforms like Xbox, Bing, and Microsoft 365, and more recently, leading Propafly, a San Diego-based startup at the intersection of AI, influencer marketing, and social commerce. I’m deeply driven by curiosity, systems thinking, and solving real problems with creative tech. In my work, I’ve always been known as a deal maker. And I’ll talk about that.

Outside of work, I wear a lot of hats—Dad, Husband, Cook, Political Junkie, and Former Professional Musician (yes, I played and worked in the studio scene in Hollywood back in the day). Music is still a big part of my life, but now it’s often soundtracked by the chaos of family life and the occasional board game battle.

Speaking of which: I’m a huge board game enthusiast. If you’re into hex maps, dice, and strategy, we’ll probably get along just fine. I’m proudly a giant nerd—but I’m also an athlete. My routine includes running 20+ miles a week and regular weight training. I’ve always believed that a sharp mind needs a strong body (plus, chasing toddlers requires stamina).

And yes—I’m a beer enthusiast. There’s just something about a cold craft beer after a long beach day or, let’s be honest, after your first kid. San Diego has one of the best craft beer scenes in the country, and I’m here for it. Whether it’s a hazy IPA or a crisp lager, post-parenthood beer just hits different.

This blog is my space to share thoughts on entrepreneurship, leadership, technology, family life, board games, and occasionally, why Range by David Epstein should be required reading for every modern professional. (Seriously, read it: Range on Amazon).

Whether you’re here for startup insights or just to swap stories, I’m excited to connect and trade perspectives.

Let’s roll.
